i'm 5'11 so the length of this mat is perfect!!! it soft and beautiful. I got the bamboo style and it really helps me to relax! it really does not smell that bad..and it goes away after a while. it even came with a mesh carrying bag and a cd. I use this for both yoga and pilates....and during the summer, i lay out on this on the concrete by the pool. Honestly....this is a 5 star mat!!

After a thorough search for a mat to use in my Pilates class, I thought this one was the best buy. The description touted that, at 1/4 in., it was thicker than the standard 1/8 in. mats. This mat exceeded my expectations. It is very comfortable, has non-slip ridges for plank work, and the soft-hued colors and design are lovely. I preferred the orange fern design. The other colors and designs are also quite nice.
Since this purchase, I have taken time to look at the thinner mats and this was indeed the best choice of those I considered. A note to those with sensitive noses: when laying face down on the mat there is a unique plastic smell that will probably wear off with time. Damp-wiping may help. Otherwise, you won't be disappointed with this mat.

I chose this mat because it was very attractive and 72" long. Considering I am 72" tall, the length of the mat was a major factor. I was thrilled when it arrived with a bag and a CD! The design also offers placement guides to help maintain consistency in position. I still love the design and it helps me feel happy and peaceful during my yoga practice.
