First, thank you for the amazing videos. I live in Egypt and my work schedule gives me no time to go to gym, and this is why you are in fact my personal trainer :)

Second, I hope you have time to read my problem. 2 years ago I succeeded to lose about 40 kg weight. I was 118 kg when started a low carb diet, and ultimately reached being 77 kg, but not only through strict dieting, but also by vomiting when I binge or overeat or get desserts.

I know it’s wrong, but it helped getting me where I reached.

After that, I had 2 miscarriages, and since the 2nd one, I gained almost 20 kg and can’t stick to a diet and feel too heavy to work out and I also have no desire to return to forceful vomiting.

Whenever I try to resume dieting, I am ok for a week or so, but then slip back to old habits…
sometimes I think I’ll never be able to lose weight again..

Why do I lose weight so slow, and what can I do to make it faster?

Will my miscarriages prevent me from losing weight again?

If I am insulin resistant, do I have to TOTALLY discard bread from my diet in order to lose weight??? And for how long?

Hi Dina,

the normal weight loss rate is 3-4 kilos per month.To lose 20 kilos it will take at least 5 months or more, because weight loss slows doen with time.

My recommendation is to be on a diet 3 weeks and than 1 week eat normal.

When you are on a diet you need to exclude:
- bread
- rice
- potatoes
- fried food
- sweet food (even fruits, exception is 1-2 fruits per week)

Eat mainly following foods:

- lots of vegetables, mainly green leaf
- lean meat – chicken breasts, beef and veal, lean pork is acceptable.
- fish and all sea food
- milk and yogurt
- eggs
- feta cheese (other types of cheese are too fat)
- some oat meal (3 spoons per day and for breakfast), but this is not cereals, I mean plain oats.
- legumes, 150-200 grams 3 times per week – beans, peas, lentils.

Here are my diet plans you can chose any of them, they all work, the difference is in foods. You can alternate my diet plans.

You need to exercise regularly especially for the weight loss goals you have.

I send often mew exercise videos, do them so you are not getting bored.
