I am 36 yrs old, I had to have a total hysterectomy a year ago for medical reasons, which threw me into surgical menopause. Within this year my life has changed drastically.

The number one complaint is I have put on approx 40 lbs from the hormones I have to take. If I take the pills I retain fluid and makes me sick on my stomach, if I don’t take them I have HORRIBLE and I mean HORRIBLE hot flashes that make me real sick I have passed out that it got so bad.

I also have a flood of emotions one minute I will be laughing and playing next I will be so mad I could just scream.

I have days where I don’t want to get out bed just lay there and cry. And my husband is so wonderful he never says anything he is so understanding.

And my sex drive went from wanting it every time my husband walked into the room to I don’t even want him looking at me in that way.

So far I have not found anything that helps. I don’t like taking the hormone pills because all the side effects and the hormone patches help some but I can’t get them to stay on.

If you can help me I would love to lose the weight and relieve some of these symptoms.
