my son and I
I weigh 225 pounds, I am 5 feet 6 inches tall, and 30 years old. Before I had my first child (at the age of 19) I weighed 115 pounds (that probably wasn’t healthy either.)
According to the BMI charts that I have consulted, I should weigh between 135 to 145 pounds. I would be happy if I weighed 150 pounds.
I am finding that everything on my body hurts; my ankles, knees, back, neck, and I am sure it is because of my weight.
I try so hard to only eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, but find it difficult. I feel hungry more often then three times per day.
I have tried the whole “5 small meals per day”, only to end up eating more then I should at each meal.
I walk, I take care of my new baby (he is 5 months old), I do a Windsor pilates dvd 4 times a week, when weather permits, I swim (I live in Mexico, so I swim in the ocean, and depending on the month the water may be too cold).
When I speak to my doctor (which isn’t an easy feat, my doctor speaks very little English, his first language is Spanish, living in Mexico and all. My Spanish is rudimentary, at best.)
He tells me to eat healthy and exercise. I tell him that I do both, or at least I attempt to do both. He doesn’t have any other suggestions.
I do not want to try any type of diet pills, I think that they are dangerous.
Why do I want to win the DVDs you are offering? I find that I have the most fun while exercising to my pilates dvd, but feel I probably need something that gets my cardio up, as well as strengthening and such.
This is probably not the best story that you have ever received, but I do hope that you consider me as one of your winners.
I just want to be healthy and able to run around and play with my kids, with out breaking a huge sweat over very little physical activity.
Thanks for your time. Hope you have a great day.
