Losing weight while in college

I am a 19 year old female who has just started college this year. I'm on the shorter side coming in at 5'1" and have always been energetic. However, as many people may know, college is not the easiest place to lose weight, with school work and eating whenever possible--mainly fatty foods (it is what is available to me)--since class times and school work throw me off schedule almost everyday.
Because I go to Rutgers University and I am forced to walk great lengths to get to class, I would like to stay fit, but doing so is hard, even with the long walks.
I have not followed a diet, but I eat healthier when I am home;
I usually eat yogurt for breakfast and salad for lunch and some meat with vegetables for dinner. I work out using videos and trying dance routines (10 Minute Solution: Dance off Fat Fast
) whenever possible--mostly for about 30 mins-1 hour 3 days a week.
I also just started doing yoga (Yoga For Weight Loss for Beginners
) to reduce the stress that school has caused. The reduction of stress is helping me be more motivated to do cardio and fitness workouts more so than before. For years I kept saying I was going to workout, but never did.
Now; however, with school, I have decided this would be the best thing for me. I have lost about 10 pounds since school started. I did not think this would be possible with the foods I had eaten at the beginning of the school year, and for meals while on campus.
I hope that if I am able to do this with school food and barely time to exercise, that others will as well. Just make sure to plan ahead of time three days during the week you will exercise so you do not fall behind.
I never plan more than one week in advance because things do come up; but I always make sure to get my 3 days in.
