I am a 27 year old woman I am 5”4 and 136. I am very happy with my overall weight except for the fact that everything I eat goes straight to my belly. No where else just to my belly.
In fact I have had people ask me if I am pregnant. At first I thought it was something medical but the doctors have ruled that out. I wasn’t even this big after my two kids were born, I have never had an issue with my weight and I have always been able to eat just about anything I wanted and didn’t have to worry about the pounds sticking to me until the beginning of this year.
I am normally around 115 to 120. So the whole dieting and exercising thing is new to me. Could you please give me some advice on healthy eating and a good workout routine for me.
I have heard that walking is really good. But I work at a nursing home and spend the majority of my day walking up and down halls lifting pt up and down. It doesn’t seem to be working. Please help me I just want my old body back!!!!

Hi Snannon, you seem to meet the issue that hits most of the women. I am skinny person too, but gradually (with age) I tend to gather belly weight too and the solution is to exercise regularly and to do a diet from time to time.
I found this book very helpful, read reviews from other women and decide if the book will be helpful for you The Abs Diet for Women: The Six-Week Plan to Flatten Your Belly and Firm Up Your Body for Life
Compliment the diet with this workout DVD: The Abs Diet Workout
Unfortunately gradually our body changes and we need to take more care of it. My advice is to find time to exercise 3-4 times per week which will keep belly fat away but only if you first do the abs diet.
The role of exercises is to prevent storing more fat, but if you already have belly fat, than exercises just stop storing more fat.
That’s why you need to do the Abs diet – burn the belly fat and than keep it away with exercises.
