Tired of looking like I do, want to feel better! Hello, my name is Melonie Ann Kydd and I am a female who is 33 years old - I am 5ft tall and 188 pounds. I started my weight loss journey beginning of 2009 as I decided that this year was going to be the year things change.
I was tired of looking at myself the way I was and tired of cringing when I saw myself naked in the mirror.
I decided to change my life because I work with children all day and needed to have my energy levels boosted as well as presenting a positive fit persona to parents who are bringing kids in day care.
I am hoping to loose at least 40 pounds by the end of 2009 - if not more.. I want to look good for myself and my husband when we go away on holiday after Christmas in 2009 to a tropical resort.
My ideal weight that I would like to reach is 120 or 130 pounds.
I used to be around 130 when I was in late teens and early twenties but fell into a bad habit and bad relationship and eating became a pattern and an escape.
Now that I am happily married for three years - I want to be a more sexy and healthy person for my husband and myself.
I have started eating healthy (since beginning of January) - I watch my calories and eat high protein meals with low carb count, do not eat any junk food at all.
I have joined Curves for Women and I am hoping to design a workout for home too. I am following Curves diet and it is not too hard to follow.
I do the Curves circuit to lose weight plus I walk at least 20 minutes a day.
I am hoping to win the DVDS so that I can continue a healthy workout program at home and as a result lose weight, reduce cholesterol and blood pressure.
