Tired of looking like I do, want to feel better! Hello, my name is Melonie Ann Kydd and I am a female who is 33 years old – I am 5ft tall and 188 pounds. I started my weight loss journey beginning of 2009 as I decided that this year was going to be the year things change.
I was tired of looking at myself the way I was and tired of cringing when I saw myself naked in the mirror.
I decided to change my life because I work with children all day and needed to have my energy levels boosted as well as presenting a positive fit persona to parents who are bringing kids in day care.
I am hoping to loose at least 40 pounds by the end of 2009 – if not more. I want to look good for myself and my husband when we go away on holiday after Christmas in 2009 to a tropical resort.
My ideal weight that I would like to reach is 120 or 130 pounds.
I used to be around 130 when I was in late teens and early twenties but fell into a bad habit and bad relationship and eating became a pattern and an escape.
Now that I am happily married for three years – I want to be a more sexy and healthy person for my husband and myself.
I have started eating healthy (since beginning of January) – I watch my calories and eat high protein meals with low carb count, do not eat any junk food at all.
I have joined Curves for Women and I am hoping to design a workout for home too. I am following Curves diet and it is not too hard to follow.
I do the Curves circuit to lose weight plus I walk at least 20 minutes a day.
I am hoping to win the DVDS so that I can continue a healthy workout program at home and as a result lose weight, reduce cholesterol and blood pressure.

Every time you eat this means nibbles and bits of chips or whatever, make sure it includes half protein, I know…get creative.
Quick Protein fixes. Hard boiled eggs, cup cottage cheese, rolled up turkey slices w/ cheese in middle. (Any quality meat will work) Tuna, peas, and of course whey protein powder-use this often, add just enogh water to be able 2 slam it, no messing around,
Never eat carbs alone always add protein!! Eat 6 small meals- fight your hunger pains its only 3 more hours..tops- til your next meal/ snack
Each serving should be no bigger then the palm of your hand!!! example….1 palm of brown rice/ red potato/ whole wheat pasta with..1 palm of chicken, beef, turkey etc….1 palm of veggies, salads etc. Drink water with every meal except once a day you may have milk, quality real oj no sugar added. coffee etc
Good luck, Go for it!! and remember, being skinny and having a flat belly and cool cloths is way better then the “joy” of 5 minutes of chewing.
