How to stop overeating

by Justine
(Malta)

Hi Rumi,
First of all, well done on this wonderful site. I’ve downloaded all your videos and I try to train for at least once a week, because I don't have much time. However I walk for 30 minutes daily.

My only problem seems to be the food. I tend to eat too much and I can't control snacking. Usually when I start eating I don't know how to stop. Can you please give me some advice or good tips on how I can stop this habit and so lose weight?

Thanks, a lot,

Justine

Hi Justine,

Thank you for your nice words about my site :-).

I think you have issue with food and you need to find a way how to stop overeating. I can give you some tips how to fight overeating.

  • Never stay hungry.

  • Always have a portion of food, after you finish it, don’t eat more.

  • Eat outside. Eating at home stimulates overeating and it is harder to control yourself in the comfort of your home.

  • Plan every meal during the day and strictly follow the schedule.

  • Think of food like e prize – if you do every day your exercises than you deserve more food. If you skip workout, you don’t deserve extra food.

  • Always have big amount of fresh vegetables and prepare enormous salads – this is healthy food that fills your stomach and you feel full.

Overeating is a serious problem if practiced for a long time. You stuff your body with food and the body can’t cope with it. The results are disorders, bad mood, headache etc.

You need will to stop overeating, I know it is not easy, but you need to do it.

You made the first step with this question :-) and I hope my tips on how to stop overeating will help you to feel better.

Keep us updated with your progress.

All the best,
Rumi
