Dear Rumi,

I’m 28 years old and weight 75kg. My height is 5′ 4”.3 years back I was about 55kg and desperately want to be back in that size again.

I was not a active person from the beginning and what I feel reason for the overweight is eating habits. Now about 2 weeks ago I started going to a gym and control my eating patterns. in the meantime i had found your site.

I had download video clips you have publish and hope to work on it.

But I really need to know what kind of food I must taken in future with these exercise.

In Sri Lanka we normally take 3 meals(we used to that)mostly rice (white/brown) and spicy curries (veggie, fish, meat). But I don’t like brown rice so I usually eat white rice. Other than that we consume lot of wheat flour products.

Nowadays I’m controlling my sugar and salt intake as practice. I’m not much prefer to drink water more than 2 liters a day too.

And some of the foods you have describe in your diet plans are not available in here.

So could you please let me know any diet plan and exercise plan. I need to reduce 20kg permanently if possible covering all parts of my body.

love,
Pabo

Hi Pabo, I see that in Sri Lanka you don’t have certain foods, but actually I don’t know what foods you have.

Stay away form wheat flour foods – they contain lots of carbohydrates.

Brown rice contain fiber and that’s why it is better when trying to reduce weight, although you need to limit even the brown rice because it also contain lots of carbs.

For reducing weight eat – meat, fish and vegetables, lentils, beans and peas – hope you have these foods in Sri Lanka.

Hi Rumi

I would like to know if you can give some more information as to the type of exercises in the workout program: necessary to go to the gym? is any equipment needed? And wondering what other types of exercises are involved– is it mainly floor work, or both… Basically, I’m just wanting to decide if it is something I would do and believe that I could be consistent with. I’m interested, as I have much to lose and would like to do so by mid-summer. At least much of it. With your program, how many pounds per week (average) can a person expect to lose (provided they really apply themselves)?

Thanks!
