Dear Rumi, first thing I have to say is that you are so great! It’s absolutely not easy to become a person like you ^_^ I really appreciate all what you have done for people!

I have come to your site randomly as I was looking for the best exercises to burn fat.
I’m almost 21. My height is about 5f4” and I current weigh 110 lbs.

Even though people around said that I’m thin, but still, you know I’m not very happy with my current body shape. I used to weigh only 100 lbs 3 years ago. After 4 months studying abroad, I gained up to 120 lbs and even to 125 lbs for a while!

Oh… I just wanna cry…

But fortunately, last summer for some reasons(I really don’t know) I dropped almost 20 lbs(I was 107 lbs)only in a half year! I was so happy and surprised!

For now, I have gained to 110 lbs. Although I’m not looked too fat, but I still feel that I have contained fat all through my body, especially my hip, thigh, calves, waist( love handles—> I hate it!), back and abs. I probably can say that I’m eating in healthy way.

I rarely eat breakfast. I’m an Asian, so mostly I have rice in lunch and dinner time (I cook for myself). Going together with rice is some vegetables (cucumber, lettuce, steam carrot, broccoli), baked pork, shrimp, tofu, baked chicken and sometimes fried fish.

I don’t eat very much fatty things like butter, cheeses, junk food and sweet stuff. I eat some fruits such as grapes(a lot) and banana. I drink about 2litres of water everyday. However, I really don’t exercise very much.

I do sometimes but not so often. I think that is the reason why I’m not fat but still feel fat because my body doesn’t tighten enough.

So I would love to get some advice from you, an expert;). It would be great if I could go back to my previous weight (100-102 lbs) with a lean and firm body, not flabby!

Could you please tell me the best way to achieve my goal within 4-5 weeks? As I will have an important event at the end of April ;) .

I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon. I really appreciate it!

Thank you and God bless you.

Love,

Stacey.

Answer from Rumi

Hi Stacey, sorry for my late replay but I have more than 300 unanswered questions and it is hard to manage it.

I think your problem has an easy solution. You need to do 2 things:

- Cut your rice portion by half and stop fruits for the period you lose weight (after you achieve your desired weight you can eat fruits again).

- Start interval jogging – you can do it in the park or at home without any equipment. Jog 1 minute moderate, than 1 minute as fast as you can, again 1 min moderate after that 1 minute as fast as you can. Do this for 40 minutes 3-4 times per week. You can do this even while you are watching TV, just jog on place.

In my opinion for 1-2 months you will g down to app.100 lbs.

All the best,
Rumi
