How do I lose my love handles?

Hi, I’m 20 years old, and trying desperately to lose my love handles (towards my back) and my hips, as well as the chubby bits on the outsides of my legs.. I’v been very lazy since I finished school, I’m not over weight, I weigh around 52kg..(and I’m 5 foot 2 tall or short :) )

My fat just seems to collect in these 3 spots and I can’t seem to shake them. I recently joined a gym again and I’m gonna try get into a strict routine and make myself go at least 3 or 4 times a week, as well as practicing healthy eating, so I can get back to my pre lazy state as soon as possible..

Are there any specific exercises you could recommend that would help me to target these specific areas?

Hi Elle, here is a page about exercises to get rid of love handles the good thing is you can do them at home.

But the role of exercises is to tighten the muscles, not to burn the fat. If you want to burn the fat around your waist line you need to follow healthy diet and to watch what you eat.

I don’t mean to stay hungry but to limit foods that build fat and to eat foods that promote weight loss.
