Hey, I started my high protein diet four days ago, it took longer getting started because I caught a real nasty stomach bug, I didn't think starting a diet while sick was a good idea. Anyway, I decided since I wanted to do this I would get totally healthy, so I quit smoking and coffee at the same time. And I feel really good, and weird part is I have had no quit smoking cravings.
Anyway, on Saturday I start my exercise program, which is just walking for now, down to my mail box and back, I'm on a farm so this is a big hike, which I normally can't do.
I don't know if I have lost anything yet, my scales don't weigh over 159 kg, so it will take awhile to get there.
But I feel amazingly good, I know it wont always be that easy, but I feel optimistic so far.
Day 1 the food seemed yucky, day 2 I was thinking I can force myself to do this, day 3 not bad, day four I am loving the food, I especially love the tofu soup (very hard to find tofu at the supermarket though).
