I get tones of emails about diet plans for teens. I don’t answer teens personally because my understanding is that they need to speak with their parents not to a strange in Internet (aka me). Anyway, I decide to share my personal opinion what should be a good diet plan for a teenager.

The first thing that needs consideration is that teens spend/need more energy compared to an adult person. Or this was true 10 years ago, when computers were not so spread and teens didn’t tent to sit for a long time playing games or chatting.

I will assume that a teenager is more active person who grows and needs a little bit more energy to sustain life. Diet plans for teens can’t be very restrictive in calories; they need to be restrictive by the type of foods but not by calories.

We all know that junk food is not good for the health and you can gain weight if you eat it regularly.

1. It is a cliché but stop eating junk food and you should see quick results and you will start to lose weight immediately.

2. Stop drinking soda.

3. Stop eating sweets more than twice per week.

Follow just these 3 steps and you should see fats weight loss.

Activity is important. Consider sport activity once or twice per week – this will speed your metabolism and combined with above 3 steps is like a fat eraser.

You don’t need diet plans for teens – just don’t eat and drink junk things and consider some activity – it is so simple!

But if you insist here is a good diet for teens.

Okay I’m going to answer the two of you for her.
I’m 17 years old and I like to think I maintain my weight pretty well. A fun activity for girls, honestly, is getting a group of your friends and all of you just go for a walk together. That way you aren’t just walking, but you’re also playing “catch up” with all your friends. For guys, get with a bunch of your friends and have a weekly football game or basketball game. If that doesn’t give you results that you want then try to change your diet. Don’t cut things out all at once, but try to cut certain things out slowly, like instead of chips try grapes or bananas. Try multigrain wheat bread instead of white. Try vitamin water or V8 juice instead of soft drinks. Doing any of these tings can help.

I am 15 years old andweigh 160 i dont think of myself as overweight but i would love to lost like 10 pounds, how can i do this?….. And i am pretty active i play softball all week and ride horses all week. But i kinda have a problem eating healthy food i just cant seem to stop eating it?

i’m 17 yrs old and i know i weight over 200 pounds and i’m depressed about it i live down the street from a recreation center but i cant bring myself to go and exercise and alot of people around me keep bringing me down saying thing like you cant do it or it’s not going to happen i mean i make plans to go and lose weigth then i get discouraged and dont want to do it anymore i need help losing this weight i was just wondering you had a plan i could stick to and not want to give up on

im 15 and i weigh a little less than 150, i want to lose around 15 pounds, i keep doing diet and exercise but its taking too long, ive only lost around 5 pounds in two and a half weeks. anyone have any other ideas to lose the weight?

im 15 years old and i way 108 pounds. i know that sounds small but i would like to lose weight. the problem is i am only 5’3. now, im a cheerleader at school and i do soccer and cross country for my school and i run/workout on a daily basis. i would love to lose weight in my stomach and tone my stomach more and gain even more muscle. i would also love to have a specific what to eat when diet plan to help me follow better. any ideas?

I just need a diet plan to lose the extra fat and tone my muscles. and i’d also love to have a what and when eat plan. also work out plans…? can you help?

i am 15 and weigh 154 pounds, and am at 5’3″, my friends say i look fine but my mom nags at me everyday about how im fat and need to lose wieght. i live in florida like five min away from the beach and really would love to look good in a bikini! anyway, im always getting put down by my own family and i feel terrible, but i have tried many things, not any strict diets cus i know that i wont follow, but i try to dance at least 30 min a day, i dont really eat that much amd i have seen no result, if any of u guys know of a quick and healthy way to lose weight without burning my wallet, i would greatly appreciate it!

im 12 and weigh 167lb exactly. i try to cut down, i even far to my school which is almost 1 and half hours away. im going through problem because of my weight i get bullied, laughed at etc.
my mom is worried and my dad is not bothered anymore

Hi (: I am 14 years old & I weigh about 130 pounds. I want to lose anywhere from 10 to 20 pounds by September (it’s now July). It’s hard for me to get motivated to excerise & stick to eating right. I’m hoping to do cheerleading & softball this next school year (9th grade). I’m also thinking about riding my bike daily or a few times a week for 20 to 30 minutes. I think a specific ‘what to eat & how much’ type plan would be best for me. I would really like some help, from anyone. Please, give me any kind of ideas. I would really appreciate it (:

Hi..I am a 16 year old and I know it may not sound like much but I weigh 122 or I did. Before our house had to go back I was a good level and felt pretty good about my weight. Now ever since I moved in with my mamaw I’ve gained it all back. The worst thing is that they eat fast food almost everyday and theres nothing in this house that I like to eat. Also, the pop. My dad and everyone always has a pop in there hands, but I wont drink sink water. Its really hard with my lifestyle because Im always doing something like babysitting and school work. I really wanna lose weight because we are going to the beach soon and Im afraid to show off my stomach. PLEASE HELP ME! WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS OFF IN LESS THAN A MONTH????

i am 5’5 and i weigh 135 pounds and im 16 yrs old, i’m not so concerned about being overweight, but i know i have horrible eating habits, i would love to lose a few pounds and to be healthier, its not so much a workout i need, because i play soccer year round. Its more of a better eating plan, one that wont break my wallet. :/ so if you could help me, that would be wonderful. and greatly appreciated.

and as for everyone else on this website, dont be so down on yourselves!!! Its easy to talk about how horrible you think you are, but try thinking about how great you are! because im sure all of you are! :)

Hi! My name is emily and i’m 13 years old. its almost time for back to school, and i really want to look good when i go back. i weigh about 115-117, and i feel terrible about myself. i know it doesnt sound like much considering that i’m 5 4, but i just wanna feel good about my body again. i would like to lose 15-17 pounds before school starts, but i’m not sure if i can. i really want a toned belly as well. i feel somewhat confident about my legs, but i would love to tone them after i lose the extra fat. my soccer season is starting soon, and we run a mile everyday, and i was wondering if that would help gte off the weight as well. thank you for your help! – Feeling Fat

Hiya. I am 13 years old and I’m 14 in 2 and a half months time. I am 5 foot and 5 inches. I weigh 8 stone and 10 pounds / 113 pounds / 51kg. When I look at myself I feel depressed and jealous of other people I know. I recently decided that I wanted to seriously lose some weight. I have been on several websites to find out if I am the right weight for my height and age. Heres what they said:

1. For my height I should be 9 stone 7 pounds.
2. I am in the ‘healthy weight’ zone
3. I am in the catogory ‘UNDERWEIGHT’ and showed me a list of illnesses I could get.

I was shocked to see the 1st and last ones come onto the screen. I would never class myself as underweight! However, I now realise that I shouldn’t feel pressured to lose weight because I feel overweight. It’s quite common for people to look at themselves and see a bigger version of what they are because they persuade themselves they need to lose weight to fit in with today’s society.

I would like to be 8 stone. Although by the time I achieve this I will probably need to be at least 9 stone to avoid illness! lol ;) For the moment I will just stick to trying to excersise more concerntrating on specific areas, getting out of the house and off the computer and T.V., toning up and eating healthier. I strongly feel that creating specific, tailored plans and charts for yourself and sticking to them easier.

If, after reading this you still feel unsure whether your healthy I highly recommend looking at reliable sources of height/weight charts, BMI calculators, ect. I find the internet a great source of information for these topics on weight issues, prehaps reading some agony aunts and real life stories of all sides of the ‘argument of weight’, would also help. Try not to quit anything ‘cold turkey’ or take on too much at once, and do things that are planned around you not your friends or family as they will be different to you. Consulting your doctor or privatly diccussing things with someone you trust can help too.

Remember that life is for living and living is learning! I hope you have found my comments helpful and I hope you succseed in whatever you decide to do. Try not to feel pressured by anyone or anything, it’s your choice!

hi im 13 going on 14 im 5`3(if i mispell a word its kus im puertorican)i weigh about 159 to 163 and my weight it alway up and down i have a really slow metabolism and i eat a lot of bread and rice and drink a lot of juice and not mutch soda but still and i want to be like from 125lbs. to 135lbs. so i need some tips and i eat everything i love vegestables and frute so i dont have a problem but i stil need to lose the weight im desprete and remember here in puertorico we eat rice, beans and bread almost every single day please i need help!!!!

To Samara,
I think its great that you eat alot of fruit and veg (its something I need to improve on) ;) And from what I have read it does not sound like your obese, you may be SLIGHTY overweight, but not much. All I would say is that the beans you eat are good for you, if you would like to lose some weight, try cutting down on some bread or rice as thats alot of carbohydrates if you eat lots of both each day. Or you can try doing a little more excesise each day building it up slowly, to keep fit. Dont worry too much and sorry if what I have said hasnt helped. Have fun! :) P.S. ive heard of a puertorican band called tick tock are they still together?? ;) xx

To Fatteen,
Please do not give up hope on life you have to live it to the full! Have you tried anything to help you lose weight if you feel you have to? If you haven’t you could try;
1. surfing the web for info and help
2. excersise! definatly important anyway!
3. healthy balanced eating
4. gradually cutting out things that aren’t going to help your body eg. junk food but only gradually and not altogether!!!
Try hearing other people’s life story’s to become more knowledgable on the subject, it may help.
Lastly, please do not say you will grow old, fat and lonley. All you need is some willpower and that will not be true. GOOD LUCK! :) xx

I’m sure your not ‘totally ugly’ it may just be the way you see yourself because you persuaded yourself thats how you are. Try to not be embarassed of who you are. I would need to know what youve tried to help yourself lose weight before i can advise you because obviously im not a professinal advisor, I just tell people what I think will help them. ;) It’s great that your friends can be honest with you no matter how much it may hurt, but at least if you do get serious about losing weight you have them there supporting you! :) Stay positive! xx

hi I’m 14 an weigh 159 I’m like 5’4 or 5’5 an I was ok with my weight an then my dad who just recently left for basic training sent a letter home telling us of how he is only 160 now. I felt sick to my stomach. when he left I only weighed 142 but now I guess I just found comfort in food. we r gonna go visit him in 2 weeks an if he weighs less than me I think I might die!!! By the sounds of things you ARE a healthy weight! :D I have also had someone call me fat before and it hurts, I agree, but there could be many reasons that this person has said this, like they could be jealous of something about you or they might want to knock your confidence for some reason. Also think about when they said this was it recently? Try not to let it bother you and just believe in yourself and you’ll be fine! :D You also mentioned that it was a he, maybe he just wanted to get your atention after all boys can be strange! :P It’s ok that you don’t eat red meat, but it is a good source of protein, which helps you to grow, so you may want to search for other foods you can get protein from. If you still feel you need to lose weight then keep up a healthy balanced diet and keep up your excersise. I know its probably not exactly what you wanted to hear but your only 11 and you dont need to lose weight. So stay positive and happy and have fun! :D xx
FOODS WITH GOOD PROTEIN LEVELS:
*Eggs
*Milk
*Soya milk
*Tofu
*Low fat yoghurt
*Cheese
*Fish
*Roast chicken

You are a healthy weight for your age and height. You have to believe that, you don’t need to lose weight all you need is a confidence boost! Look at yourself every day and believe you are beautiful because I’m sure you are! :D Enjoy your life! xx

To i was ok,
I’ll admit weighing more than your dad would be embarassing! But you’ve faced that now so just forget about it for a while and concerntrate on you and what you want to do. Lose weight. So really persuade yourself that you want to lose weight and you can. :) Try to find some kind of activity or sport you enjoy and stick to it! You can also try making a plan of healthy eating, stick to the usual rules – 5 a day ect. Get some relevant information so you know what your doing and dont go too far. Try little things at a time. Don’t worry if it takes a long time. It won’t be instant so keep perservering and don’t give up till your happy! Stay positive and good luck!!! :D xx

First of all I love your name :P Anyway I think it’s great having some fun with a friendly family competition, it’s great motivation! Sometimes it can be quite easy to make targets maybe lose one or two pounds a week, in which case it would only take you just over a month to lose you target weight. It may be a little drastic to get no presents if you dont lose it all, but again it’s a motivation target, however maybe something a little less over the top is better :D (unless of course they were just joking lol :P ) Dont worry about it too much just make a plan or “timetable” and STICK TO IT! I am not a perfect girl whom you can not relate to, i myself have problems every day with my own self image and sometimes I get very depressed about it but i am learning that i am important to God and to the people around me, and so are you! I pray that you do not even toy with the idea of anorexia or bullehmia! Please do not do it, my own friend had prblems with an eating disorder before i knew her and she has asked God to help her with her self-image and she has moved on, but i pray that none of you will ever have to deal with the horrors of anorexia! You all are so prcious! Just eat healthy and get exercise, but do not stop eating, it with only hurt you and the people around you if you stop eating.
God loves you all so much, and even though i don’t know you i know that God loves you all very much!

I gainged about 20 or 30 punds in about a year and a half and im afraid that if i dont start doing something about im going to keep gaining wieght. Hi, I’m 17, 5’6″, and 213LB. i used to wiegh 135 but that came down over a 1year period…but now next summer i’m getting married. I have talked to my mom about weight loss before this date…but she can’t help me. I’m very unhappy, and want to make my man happy by giving him a pretty girl to love…but so far i’m just fat, and ugly. I have just started doing situps, pushups, leg lifts, 30min. walks, and when i can..jumping jacks. I try to eat good and control my portions. But still i don’t gain…but i don’t lose. I’m so desperate….any help? we don’t have much money by the way..so healthy foods are kinda hard to get. By the way…i’m especially depressed cause my dad weighs less than me. He’s 185. it sucks.

Okay, This is to Everyone that has been reading and/or posting things here about their weight and how they need help.

First of all, I’d like to share a little story about myself and how i made a change in my life.

I used to be 145 lbs when I was only 13 years old. My self esteem fell drastically and all i saw in the mirror was an ugly girl that no guy would ever consider kissing or even looking at twice. So, I decided I wanted to change. But, the problem was, I changed for the wrong reasons. there was a girl in my school that every guy adored and drooled at as she walked by. And I wanted to be just like her. I stopped eating, pleaded my mom to bring me to the gym with her, i took up cheerleading and softball and soon i was 130 lbs by 14 yrs old. The only problem was-I still saw that ugly, fat girl. My personality changed drastically. I became moody, constantly tired,and always angry or upset about something! It began effecting my relationship with my family and friends. Then one day, my best friend came up to me and told me something I would never forget. She says: “Shannon. You were more beautiful before. You had a smile and a laugh that brightened everyone’s day! Now, You’ve lost yourself in becoming someone your not.” That’s when it hit me.

LOSING WEIGHT FOR ANYONE BUT YOURSELF WILL **NOT** WORK!!!

Why? Because once you feel you need to change yourself and your appearance to impress a boy or fit in with the popular kids, or just to feel normal! then you’re wrong. Losing weight should be about getting healthy and staying healthy. That’s all thats gonna matter in the end. When you’re healthy, your outlook on life changes dramatically. But you have to change your opinions about yourself first. Soo, Here’s what you gotta do!

1.LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SAY YOU.ARE.BEAUTIFUL!! :D BECAUSE YOU ALL.ARE.BEAUTIFUL!!

2.go into your pantry/refrigerator and pull out ALL the stuff you feel you can live without that DOESN’T HAVE ANY NUTRITONAL VALUE!! such as: ice cream, soda, cookies, donuts, white bread, bagels, etc…AND THROW.THEM.OUT!

3. write a list of food you like that are healthy! Even experiment a little. Write down things you’ve never tried before!

4. GO TO THE STORE WITH YOUR PARENTS/GUARDIAN! They will not know what you want! You Have the LIST! And noo dont GIVE them the list because now THEY have the power of what THEY think is NECESSARY! Trust me, my mom pulled that on me PLENTY of times.

ex: Me: “Hey ma, did you get low fat yogurt?”
Mom: “Why the hell do you need low fat yogurt for?”

Exactly…

5. Talk to Someone…Maybe they want to lose weight too! If they do, make it a competition or make it a tag team kind of thing. Plan walks, go to play in a local park, go to the gym together, ANYTHING to get you moving and out the door for at least an hour!

6. Can’t get to a gym? Go outside and kick a soccer ball around for 40 min. There you just did a cardio workout for the day.

7. For lunch on school days: Bring a small sandwhich (I brought whole wheat bread with turkey and lettuce with either mayo or mustard! Get at least some protein in your diet each day! plus whole wheat bread is WAYY healthier then white or italian bread. :] ) A fruit and a vegtable and some water or vitamin water.

8. Believe it or not, Gatorade, Powerade, Redbull, and Monsters will NOT Help you lose weight OR boost your energy. Drinking WATER after a workout and a banana will help with enery, hunger, and the banana will prevent a lot of soreness the next day. :]

9.Don’t CONSTANTLY weigh yourself! It will become an annoyance and can turn into an obsession. For Example. Say one day you realize you gained .2 lbs, you flip out, say you can’t do it, and give up! (Trust me, its happened to me PLENTY OF TIMES!)

**10. ITS OKAY TO GO OFF YOUR DIET ONCE IN A WHILE!!!
so what, You went to Wendys! Your not gonna gain everything back! but instead of ordering the most fattening thing on the menu, get it in smaller porportions. and instead of a soda, get bottled water or bring your own. There u just save yourself two dollars!

ALL of these things helped me change the way i looked at myself and how I felt about MYSELF! When youchange Your ATTITUDE And your MIND set, nothing can stand in your way.

I am 14 5’2″ and I weight 244 pounds. I don’t feel good about myself because I have been teased on about my weight since Elementary School. I don’t like shopping or taking pictures because I always grew up knowing that being thin was pretty. I have slapped myself tried to choke myself, and cut myself with glass because I don’t love myself. I am on the marching band at school and I play two other instruments, but it doesn’t seem to help me because I eat junk after it. I am sick of crying and moping around. I need to gain confidence and change before I kill myself!

hello! the holiday eating is over and i cant remember the last time i’ve been on a scale. i feel kinda old now 18, but i have been battling obesity since elementary school. i know im obese(appx 5’6 245lbs) but when i look in the mirror i try to see the potential for beauty. i make people laugh and i am very social. the only thing is that underneath it all i am very very insecure about my weight because i weigh more than all my friends and older siblings. i need help!! if i dont change now i dont know how long i will last. i have horrible health problems as well but my parents dont want to hear it. please help me be healthy. i want to live a better healthier life! thank you

Hey, I am 13 years old, and I have cystic fibrosis and diabetes. With my cystic fibrosis, most survivors are extremely skinny and can never gain weight. but ever since Ive had diabetes, i gained a lot of weight. I am 5’7″ and like 120lbs. My stomach is huge due to my CF and my face. I want to lose the fat off of them both, but not go to dramatic because I dont want to go extremely skinny. I need help.

ok my brother is a wrestler and no dont jut stop eating because as soon as u do or drink water its gonna come right back. try to sweat more if u want to loose weight. some people dont understand how wrestling works but i o i know how tough it is. so trying eating just tons of fruits and veggies. drink only water and wear tons of clothing all the time so u sweat and run a lot it helps

I have tried working out since I last commented on here and my mom bought that P90X workout. I still don’t like to exercise and I eat and I cant rely on marching band cuz marching band season is over. And those workouts my mom bought r 2 hard! I guess I am going to be fat all my life!

ok so for sheerleading we do this workout dance video and its really fun and u work up a sweat and i know it sounds bad coming from me since im still overweight and fat but it has helped me loose some weight. you can get the hip hop video at wal*mart for like 10 to 15 dollars and its fun try to get some friends to do it with you and yea….

hi, im 16 and i totally under what your daughter is going through i went through the same exact thing and the best thing to do is not a “diet” but a “life style change”. ive done the diet thing and they dont work just cut back on junk and bring on the fruit and veggies and have the whole family do it, it shows that every1 is supporting her….i wish my family would have so i hope this helped and if she needs someone to talk to let me know i would love to help her out :)

Im 14 nearly 15, everyone says im not fat and that im thin, but i look at myself and i want to loose weight. I want a flatter tummy and thinner legs, i do the lunges and sit ups and jogging and things like that on the WII fit, but i really want to be thin and feel happy in myself, Although the WII says im ideal weight i dont feel it and want to make myself thinner. Does anyone have any tips of how i could loose the weight?.
I have stopped eating all junk foods and cut down on snacks, i only eat a small breakfast, lunch and dinner. I dont drink many fizzy drinks, i have the occasional drink with parents and at partys, i dont smoke or anything. But i just want to feel confident.

I have a 18 year old sister who needed to loose weight and she lost all of it before prom by doing a game on wii called just dance its fun and you just dance hense the name of the game. But you also have to eat healthy and the weight should come right off. Get friends to join in. Hope this helps

I’ve figured that people my age, (13 to 14) are so obsessed with being skinny. And i admit i want to be thin, but boys do like curves! So just cut back on the junk food, and go for a jog occasionally. It’ll soon go:D

hello, i am so impressed to read all of these comments. i have a 15 year old daughter who has been going through an eating disorder disease for over a year now. she started by being obsessed about loosing weight. she kept on saying that she wanted to “feel” good, “look” good, and be “confident”. everytime she looked at herself in the mirror she saw a fat image. things got worst !!! she stopped eating…. all she put in her stomach was ice and drunk a lot of water. yes… i wont lie to you…. she did loose weight…. but she had to pay a very high and sad price for it !!!! she got anorexic. she lost a lot of weight and became skin and bones. she lost control of her weight and life. i forced her to eat…but it only made it worst… she would eat… but she would run to the bathroom to trow up. she developed Bulimia. today… she still hates it when i ask her to eat. she is still seeing therapists, but no matter how many times she sees them…. it is up to her to get better… she still has in her mind that she has to loose more weight. i hope that this help you understand that you can easily loose control of your mind once you get obsessed with the thought of wanting to loose weight. please be careful.

Hey, I have been 1 month already without no soda.. and i go to the gym 4 times a week and workout for 2 hours. I eat for breakfast sandwich or cereal. And normally at school i eat an snack. When i get home i eat my lunch and for dinner i don’t usually eat or if i eat, i eat cereal or salad.
Everybody tells me that what I’m doing is great but i don’t see any difference in my weight. So i wanna know what I’m doing wrong?

KenzLeigh, you are commenting on the page with a diet plan for teens, did you read it? Check the menu above for Workout videos, I have many and they are free. Only you can do something for you, you need to eat right and you need to workout regularly, nobody can do this for you. You need to start and changes will happen, it will take time.

I excercise plenty, my pedometer says over 20,000 at the end of every day and I do 2 hours of cardio. I do the lemon cleanse once every 4-5 months. Is this healthy and safe for me?

Cynthia, it is better to follow the diet plan above. Plenty of fruits is ok if you don’t want to lose weight, but otherwise you should limit fruits to 2 per day. Eat plenty of veggies, red meat, chicken, eggs, yogurt.

Which i know I gained back. I’m gonna be 17 this august and my final year of school is coming soon along with the graduation party (Debs in Ireland) I am a size between the sizes 16-20 depending on the shop and clothes quality but everyone who sees me doesn’t think I look the weight, they do say I am a big girl but I don’t look the weight.I need help. I want to be able to wear the clothes my friends wear. I want to be able to go and out and feel good about myself but I can’t. Its puts a struggle on me to find something to wear going to parties, usually I wont go but this year I noticed I am starting to kind of get a nice womans shape and I have been cutting down on sweets and junk food in particular. I think this dietry plan is good it worked for me along with doing situps and I lost 2 more than 2 stone in less than 3 months when I was 12. I am going to do this plan again and try and get down a few sizes.

i am 14 years old and weight 195 lbs. every time i go to the doctor she tells me im over weight, which makes me uncomftorable. my stomach pokes out like a pregnant woman’s belly, so if it 95 degress out side i wear a jacket to cover it up. without my jacket/sweater people always ask how many monthes am I. that makes me even more uncomfotrable. Hi. My name is Sarah. I’m turning 16 in two months, I’m 163cm tall and I weigh 52kg. I used to weight 69kg when I was 13-14. Since young my parents have been letting me eat all the junk I want to eat and I was a very lazy person. My best friend and mum tells me to be active but I kept telling them I was comfortable with the way I look and feel. I got teased a lot, being called ‘fat’ and that affected my self-esteem a lot, especially since I’m a growing teen and of course, I do have crushes and what’s not. I started jogging but I still ate the junk I’m used to and wasn’t serious with exercising. One day, I got real tired of being teased and I decided, once and for all, I want a change and wanted everything to stop. I stopped all the junk, started jogging/running 3-5 times a week and within three months I went down to 57kg. I remained constantly active, getting myself involved in physical activities in school, walk instead of taking the bus if the distance is near, climb the stairs, plain get off the couch and finding an activity to do. After a year and a half, I am now 52kg and I still jog/run, took up Muay Thai, lift weights, walk and climb the stairs and I treat myself to junk only during weekends, my ‘off days’. It’s not something hard. if you set your heart and mind to it, it will happen. Don’t just say you’re tired of your body yet do nothing about it. Don’t believe in diet myths guaranteeing you to lose 20kg in a month or whatsoever because it is plain unhealthy and ignorant. Everyone’s body is different and you should know your body before believing what the internet says. What the author said is true, cut the junk and partake in an activity – you’ll easily see a few pounds off your belly. After that, consistency is the key. Add foods healthy for you, lile yoghurt, wholegrain foods and fruits. Green tea is also great for weight loss. Now, after a year and a half, I consistently tell myself I never want to go back to the way I was before and I can say I never felt better. My stamina and metabolism increased, I don’t get tired easily, I’m very active and I’m a more positive person than before. No one’s teasing me anymore and I’m not brought down by bulges, I fit into beautiful clothes. All I can say is, get all the negative energy off your mind and start doing something good for yourself. Whenever I see scrawny models, I tell myself before my work outs that I can be better than them and I don’t have to be unhealthy to be like them. Motivate yourself, endure, and the effect will cause you great euphoria once you know it’s off your own hard work and determination.
