You need to calculate your daily calorie intake if you want to lose weight or just to keep it. The calories you spend every day depends on your current weight and your activity level.

Fill your data in the calculator below, be sure to play with different activity levels – this will show you how much you can eat if you exercise more.

One more thing, write down your calories after every meal and track how many calories you eat per day. Here is The CalorieKing Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter 2009, that you can take with you even if you travel or work at the office.

***To calculate amount of calories needed for average women for the daily intake please use the tool below:

Average Daily Calorie Intake for Women

Height in feet: inches:

(Note: You must enter a number in the inches box. If you are exactly 5 ft. or 6 ft., enter “0.”)

Weight in pounds:

Age:

Activity level (choose):

Calories per day needed to maintain current weight:

For example if I enter in the calculator:

Height: 5’2”
Weight: 112 lbs
Age: 33
Activity: Sedentary

Than my daily calorie intake to maintain my weight is almost 1600.

But if I change Sedentary to Moderate than my daily intake could be almost 1900 calories.

This shows that if you exercise you can have a piece of cake or a normal size meal MORE and you will not gain weight !!!

BUT if you want to lose weight than you just need slightly calorie decrease and combined with exercises this cause healthy weight decrease. It is very simple.

You don’t need to starve, just skip one third of your every meal, exercise 3-4 times per week and the miracle will happen like a breeze.
