Any exercises we can do in the winter?

Hello, I and my boyfriend would both like to lose weight, but we are stuck for any exercise ideas (especially as it is winter).
We don't want to join a gym (too expensive) or buy any equipment. Could you give us any pointers as we are currently not getting exercise at all.
I'm 5'2" and weigh nearly 10 stone. My boyfriend is 5'9" and weighs just over 17 stone. I guess we have trouble sticking to the healthiest options when it comes to eating as well.
We are good at our evening meals, only cooking from the bare ingredients and never use lard, butter, veg oil, etc., but we tend to always buy food when we are out which usually consists of chocolate, takeaways etc..
If you could give any pointers then that would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time!

Hi Francesca, it is so nice you want to do exercises with your boyfriend; this is very good both for your healthy goals and for your relationship. Why not try my home exercise videos you don’t need any equipment for them?
I recommend using barbells but you can handle mineral water bottles instead of. I guess these weights will be very light for your boyfriend and for him dumbbells are better but it is your choice.
Try to do exercises 3-4 times per week, 40-60 minutes is enough.
You need to change what you eat during the day if you want to have results, because exercises can’t burn the energy you eat from chocolates and junk food. For example 60 minutes exercises burn app. 300-400 calories, which are the calories in a piece of cake.
The role of the exercises is to burn some extra calories and to boost your diet, but if you eat what you want all the day the result from doing exercises will be that you are more toned, but there will be fat over your muscles and you can’t see your toned muscles lying under a layer of fat.
What I suggest is to try to prepare food for the next day at home and to bring it with you in a nice plastic box or what ever you want. Or if you don’t like to bring food with you than chose from healthy choices like steak with a salad (no dressing), or fish and a salad.
All the best,
Rumi
