Abs are very easy to workout. You need 10 minutes a day to do abdominal exercises. But the truth for abs is not in training, but in eating. It is very important what and how much you eat.

You can’t have sexy abs without stopping to eat enormous amount of food. Try to eat 5-6 times a day.

Three actions for sexy abs:

Action #1

Eat small portions of meal. Eat quality food. Follow strictly diet plan. The thing is most people don’t know the nutritional value of food and they eat 4 oz of nuts, 3 apples, and some cheese and salad – this i snot bi quantity of food 9as amount) but it is big quantity of calories. 4 oz of nuts are app. 600 calories, 3 apples are 300 calories and 4 oz of cheese are app. 500 calories so you end with 1400 calories and you don’t feel satisfaction from food.

You can eat smarter 1400 calorie. Do you know that lean meat and fish have app. 120 calories per 4 oz portion? And that veggies are low in calorie? So to eat 1400 calories on meat and veggies you need to eat almost 2 pounds of meat and 2 pounds of veggies – this is big food! So ea smart and you will have flat abs.

Action #2

Do cardio. Best abs exercise is not what you think. And you need to push hard and don’t give your body a chance to adapt, constantly challenge your body while doing cardio. Recent studies discovered that interval training, or interval cardio also called HIIT (high intensity interval training) boost fat burning for whole day after the workout. This means that instead of run on treadmill with steady speed it is better to run intervals, like 30 seconds run at your maximum pushing very hard and than 30 seconds run on moderate speed or even walk.

Action #3

Workout entire body. It is important to do exercises for all muscles – don’t fail this rule – you can’t have sexy abs and flabby hips for example. Form follows function. So in order to have flat abs you need to workout and eat, or you need to develop function and form will follow it.

You can’t spot fat on abs. Imagine your body as a whole not as parts. When you do exercises you pull energy from your 1 source of energy. There is no separate source of energy for abs, separate for legs, separate for buttocks etc.

You have single source of energy and when you lose weight you lose proportionally from all body, or depending on you hormones you lose more from some areas and less from other. But you can’t control this.

What you can control is how you exercise – so do exercises for big muscles in order to spend more energy compared to doing exercises for abs or arms. Spending more energy means you burn more calories.

But you need to watch what you eat, because it is pointless to over eat 600 calories (a piece of cake and a shake from Starbucks for example) and you need to workout 2 hours to burn these extra calories and you will not lose weight and have flat abs, because you need calorie deficit or workout 1 more hour (3 hours in total).

So don’t eat too much because you can’t burn it with exercise, of course you can but to spend 2-3 hours exercising is madness.

Follow above 3 actions and after 2-3 months you will have flat abs.
